As a financial professional well experienced in advising corporate and individual clients, Greg Saliba comes to Capital Pacific Bank with highly valued credentials. He served as vice president of investment banking for the Piper Jaffray Debt Capital Markets Group and as a vice president of corporate banking with US Bancorp. Greg is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and holds an NASD Series 7 and 66 securities licenses. He can also be found teaching debt and equity valuation, market risk and return concepts, and various analytical methodologies in his corporate finance and investment portfolio management classes at Portland State University. Greg earned an MBA from Portland State University, holds a masters degree in East Asian Studies from the University of Oregon, and a B.A. in history from Whitman College. He taught finance in Russia via the Free Market Business Development Institute program in 2001 and studied Japanese history and culture at Doshisha University in Kyoto, Japan.

With more than 40 years of experience delivering banking and financial solutions to regional businesses, Jerry Boehm is putting his impeccable credentials in community banking and commercial lending to work for Capital Pacific Bank. Widely known in financial circles, Jerry’s energy and enthusiasm for problem-solving is respected by both peers and customers. From his first foray into banking at Seattle First Bank, he’s cultivated a professional resume rich with experiences at many of the region’s most successful institutions. Most recently, Jerry came to Capital Pacific Bank from First Independent Bank, where he served as senior vice president and manager, Community Banking and Vancouver Commercial Banking. His deep background in building deposit and loan relationships with medium-sized companies and professional individuals includes positions with West One Bank, Umpqua Bank, Washington Mutual and Banner Bank. A Civil War buff, Jerry serves on the boards of the Classroom Law Project and the Beaverton Rotary Club. He is a graduate of Oregon State University and the National Commercial Lending School, and he finished at the Pacific Coast Banking School with honors.

Robert Luettjohann

Specializing in equipment and C & I lending, Robert Luettjohann is an integral part of Capital Pacific Bank’s commercial lending team. He has provided relevant financial services and sensible guidance to his clients for over 18 years, the majority of which has been in the commercial and equipment lending arena. Well-versed in banking and finance, Robert’s additional expertise in construction and commercial real estate is valued by his colleagues and clients. He has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Washington, and volunteers with both Meals on Wheels and the Hillsboro School District.

Chuck Michael is a highly-respected banker with an impressive track record and stellar reputation cultivated over a 40-year career in the Portland area. It is rare to find a business leader who doesn’t know him as he has had a significant influence in our local community banking market for many years. His deep experience in all facets of financial services makes him an invaluable advisor to his clients. Chuck came to Capital Pacific Bank from a position with First Independent Bank where he served as division manager, heading the bank’s commercial lending operations in the Northwest. He began his career with West One Bank and has held positions with Bank of the Northwest and Bank of the Cascades. Active in the community, he currently serves on the board of the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society; the Humane Society of Southwest Washington; and he sits on the President’s Council of the Portland Business Alliance. He is a past board member of Classroom Law Project and remains involved as a volunteer in their youth and high school programs. He is a graduate of Central Washington University and the Pacific Coast Banking School.

A deep background in financial analysis and expertise in loan portfolio management brought Kathy Swift to Capital Pacific Bank’s client service team. With 25 years of banking experience, she helps her clients find the right solution to meet their credit needs. Kathy’s banking background includes positions with US Bank, First Interstate Bank and Chicago’s Continental Bank. She honed her business management skills on the client-side as area business manager for Mentor Graphics’ Americas Region. She holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School, and a BA in Political Science-International Relations from Carleton College. Active in her field, Kathy serves as president and board member of the Oregon/SW Washington Area Chapter of Risk Management Association, and develops and teaches credit training courses for financial analysis, loan structuring and loan workouts.

Having worked in financial institutions large and small, Doug White’s expertise in commercial lending, knowledge of the Portland marketplace, and penchant for finding solutions to meet the individual challenges of his clients is well suited to the Capital Pacific Bank business model. He has a breadth of experience in asset-based lending, appraisal services, credit management and training. Doug earned a degree in business at Portland State University before doing graduate studies at Pacific Coast Banking School, a program affiliated with the University of Washington.
